Feb 14th Daily Reflection

Today is my last post. I have been blogging for about a year and a half and I feel that I need a new way to rejoice and celebrate the love of the Lord! If I find another daily devotion I will return to posting. I give thanks and gratitude to those who have read my postings over the past year and a half. I pray that it has added value to your life and brought you a little closer to the Lord.

Feb 7th Daily Reflection

Yesterday and today I have been feeling weary because going the grain of the world, constantly trying to stay focused on the Lord can be energy draining. UNLESS, the concern about the world and what the world thinks no longer factors into your evaluation process. You are only concern to adhere to the spirit of the Lord and stay focus on him and him alone. So as I switch my focus only to the Lord, my energy level raises, I am excited to take on the challenges of the world and all the negativity of it because I know the Lord will always protect me.

Feb 2nd Daily Reflection

Laser focus on the Lord! The past few days I have not been laser focus on the Lord and I noticed that I was a bit off. Then I started being laser focus again and I realized how much different it is to be laser focus on the Lord than simply going it on your own. There is a sense of peace and confidence that I can accomplish anything when I am laser focus on the Lord. However, when I am not laser focus on the Lord, I get tripped up by self confidence issues, I let others determine my mood and I get frustrated when things don't go my way. A laser focus, allows me to see the beauty in everything and allows me to rejoice even when things don't go my way!
